Individual massage session
Possible to book individual massage session with Mateusz Flak : Mate Thai ***
Every session is unique, with programme adjusted to individual needs and state of the patient.
Traditional Thai Yoga Massage is a multifaced healing art: sometimes it appears as a dance of loving kindness, sometimes a precise healing modality creating space and movement in the body, sometimes tangible meditation in movement...
On physical level it increases flow of blood and lymph, supports body immunity, helps to loosen muscles and mobilize joints, brings relief in specific issues and pains.
In all of its aspects, it aims at balancing the sunlike and the moonlike energies of the patient, to flow freely in the central axis, similar to most styles of classical hatha yoga.
Please send e-mail for booking/requests: [email protected]

What is Thai Massage, in our understanding?
- Precise healing modality that creates space and movement in the body
- Loosening joints and muscles - brings refreshment and energy
- Aiming to balance both sides of the body and free flow in central axis and in other energy lines
- Meditation in movement
- It is a meeting of two sides / two people, kind of conversation grounded on listening to the needs of person receiving massage
- Physical application of metta / loving-kindness, equanimity, awareness of the giver
You're welcome to join and dive deep into art of working with energy lines and therapy points, emotional and physical balance and relaxation, therapeutic pressures and stretches that we use in Thai Massage.
You will gain the basic knowledge of working with Thai Massage in supine, prone, side and sitting positions. We will learn also how to practice massage in fully ergonomic and safe way. On the closing of the weekend practice we will be ready to give full body massage.

A bit more on the massage itself...
Nuad Bo Rarn, Traditional Thai Massage, is believed to have reached East Asia thanks to life-long activity of doctor Shivago (in Thai tradition called Jivaka Kumar Bhaccha), who was member of first sangha (community) around historical Buddha. Shivago, healer, naturopath, wandering through kingdoms of ancient India in order to heal, is up to this day a patron of massage practice and traditional medicine approach in Thailand.
Until late 20th century, tradition of massaging had there mostly oral character. Nowadays two main centres of education, with schools and most reverend masters, are located in Bangkok and in Chiang Mai.
Traditional Thai Massage - called also 'Thai Yoga Massage' - involves thorough work on energy lines (sen) and acupressure of therapy points and reflexology. Several stretches are also practiced, similar to those present in yoga.
Benefits of Thai massage are numerours: balancing and stimulation of energy body, increased flow of blood and lymph, increased body immunity, muscles loosening, mobilization of joints, help in specific issues and pains.
Additional efect of this practice are: increasing of self-coordination and body-awareness of the giver, who feels also energized but in the same time centered and calm.
Practice of Thai Massage is also physical application of 'metta', loving-kindness. It is performed with empathy, awareness, contemplation.
